Hand Hygiene

In order to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 virus Health Canada and the World Health Organization have recommended, among other things, the following:

• encouraging frequent hand hygiene in the workplace
• ethanol based products have proven to be effective against viruses in hand disinfection in 30 seconds
• cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces such as door handles, telephones etc. to reduce the risk of cross contamination.

Most food processing facilities will have procedures in place to minimize the risk of cross contamination including the use of hand hygiene products from Epsilon Chemicals Ltd. outlined below.
